I paid for Pro but it is locked

Open Settings → DrumTick Pro in the app and tap Restore Purchases. That asks the App Store to re-check the subscription tied to your Apple Account. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on — this is the usual cause on a new phone or a family device.

How do I cancel the subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside DrumTick. On your device open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose DrumTick, then cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

Will I lose my presets if Pro lapses?

No. Nothing is deleted. Presets beyond the free allowance stop loading until Pro is active again, but they stay on your device, and routines you wrote yourself remain editable.

The sound stops when I lock the screen

It should not — DrumTick is built to keep playing with the screen off. If it stops, check that the device is not in Low Power Mode with background activity restricted, and that DrumTick has not been force-quit from the app switcher. Turning on Keep Screen Awake in Settings → Behavior avoids the issue entirely during a session.

Another app’s audio cuts out when DrumTick plays

DrumTick mixes with other audio rather than taking it over, so you can practise along to a backing track. If the click briefly ducks, that is the tempo announcement speaking — turn off Announce next tempo in the Automator panel if you would rather it did not.

The tempo drifts on long sessions

It should not. The click is scheduled on the audio engine’s own clock, not on a timer, so it does not accumulate error. If you do hear drift, tell us the device, iOS version, tempo and subdivision — that is a bug worth chasing and those four facts are what make it findable.
